- The glass has a smaller capacity than the bucket.
How to Measure Capacity
We can use a smaller container as a standard unit to measure, such as using a cup to measure water from a pitcher.
- If we fill the pitcher using \(5\) cups of water perfectly, it means the pitcher has a capacity of \(5\) cups.
- Remember: When measuring dry goods (like rice), you must level it off so it's "flat against the brim of the container," not heaped up!

- Full: The container is filled right to the brim.
- Partial (or 'phrong'): There is some content, but the container is not full.
- Empty: There is nothing inside at all.
