常見錯誤

1. 1high涉及分數: 10Section B part (b)

   Leaving out explicit engagement with other aspects of human experience in Section B part (b).

   如何避免: Decide your human experience example before you start Section B, and name it directly in your opening sentence. Without it, the whole response is capped at Band 2, a maximum of 10 out of 25.

   Writing a descriptive, narrative account in an AO2 part (b) instead of a sustained evaluative argument.

   如何避免: State a position, set out a real counter-argument or scholarly objection, then reach a conclusion. Retelling the topic is not the same as testing it.

   Writing a pre-prepared "stock" essay that answers a general topic rather than the specific quote or prompt given.

   如何避免: Underline the exact wording of the question before you start, and check off every element it asks for, not just the topic area.

   Naming a scholar such as Conzelmann, Hick, or Swinburne without stating what they actually argued.

   如何避免: Give the scholar's specific claim in one sentence before you use their name to support or challenge a point.

   Treating a dual-element question, for example one asking about "purpose and meaning", by answering only the first half in depth.
