Analogy: Imagine selling lemonade. Your Revenue is all the cash in your cup from customers. The lemons and sugar are your Cost of Sales. What is left is your Gross Profit. Paying for the wooden stand permit or advertising signs are your Expenses. What is finally left in your pocket is your Profit for the Year!

• Current Ratio (Working Capital Ratio):
