Hospitality 0007 試験対策
GCSE Hospitality runs two 65 mark papers built almost entirely from 2 mark explain questions and a 9 mark essay. The essay's biggest trap is arguing only one side, which caps you at 6 out of 9 however well you write it.

GCSE Hospitality has no numerical or calculation content in either externally examined unit, so no calculator is needed and none of the questions in our analysis require one. If a candidate brings one, the general CCEA and JCQ rule still applies: no stored or retrievable information may be held in it.
- AO1: AO1: recall, select and communicate their knowledge and understanding of concepts, issues and terminology (35%)
- AO2: AO2: apply their skills, knowledge and understanding in a variety of contexts and in planning and carrying out investigations and tasks (45%)
- AO3: AO3: analyse and evaluate information sources and evidence, make reasoned judgements and present conclusions (20%)

よくあるミス
- 1high影響する配点: 1Structured explain questions
Two-mark "explain" questions get a single identifying point with no development, earning one mark instead of two.
回避方法: After naming the point, add one sentence saying what it means in practice, its effect, or a concrete example. Treat every explain question as two deliberate steps, not one. - 2high影響する配点: 9Extended evaluation essay
The 9 mark evaluation essay, Question 6 on both papers, argues only one side, for example only the benefits of upgrading a star rating, which caps the mark at Level 2, a maximum of 6 out of 9.
回避方法: Plan both sides of the argument before writing a word. Give each side real development, not a single sentence tacked on at the end, to have any chance of reaching Level 3. - 3medium影響する配点: 2Health and safety legislation
RIDDOR accident reporting and COSHH hazardous substance control get confused with each other, or with general health and safety law, in legislation questions.
回避方法: Learn what each covers specifically: RIDDOR is about reporting workplace accidents, injuries and dangerous occurrences. COSHH is about controlling exposure to hazardous substances. Name the one that actually matches the scenario. - 4medium影響する配点: 2Staff training
Off-the-job training questions mix up the benefit to the employee with the benefit to the employer, for example writing that training increases the hotel's profit when the question asks what the employee gains.
回避方法: Check whose perspective the question is asking from before you answer. An employee gains things like a formal qualification or transferable skills; an employer gains things like improved service standards or staff retention. - 5medium影響する配点: 2Customer care
Customer service answers give generic points that would fit any customer, rather than points suited to the specific group named in the question, such as a sports team, an elderly resident, or a wheelchair user.
回避方法: Reread the scenario and name the actual customer group before answering. Write points that only make sense for that group, not points that could apply to anyone. - 6medium影響する配点: 2First aid
First aid answers give vague actions, such as "put water on it", instead of the specific procedure the mark scheme wants.
回避方法: Learn the exact wording for common first aid procedures. For a minor burn, hold it under cold running water for at least ten minutes. Vague instructions do not earn the mark even when the general idea is correct. - 7medium影響する配点: 3Extended writing vocabulary
Extended writing answers use everyday language instead of specialist hospitality vocabulary, such as upselling, suggestive selling, profitability or brand equity, which keeps the answer out of the top marking band.
回避方法: Use the specification's own vocabulary in your essay. A correct point made in specialist terms reads as stronger than the same point made in casual language, and the mark scheme rewards that difference directly.
